The main idea of this project is to create a wall between the building itself and the main street to cover the workspace of the bank at the ground floor and the other offices at first floor. The only exception is represented by two parallelepipeds that break the wall and create two cantilevered meeting rooms towards north. The particularity of this massive element is his covering made by perforated panels that create an interesting light effect.
On the south side there is another wall, rotated compared to the other, that defines the internal space of the local bank building with an entrance hall, a consulting room, a director’s office and a meeting room. This second wall supports six parallelepipeds located at the first floor in which there are two independent offices accessible from the stairs inside the first wall.
The use of Archicad 23 in the design workflow process of the local bank building of Sovizzo (Vicenza, Italia) was essential to complete all the tasks, model and documentation, in a short time. At the beginning the project was divided into three corresponding moments of the design process (this classification is used commonly in Italy): preliminary design, final draft, executive project. We can observe this project structure in the View Map, and in the Layout Book, where each view has a different Model View Option, Graphic Override, Renovation Status, Layer Combinations and Scale. These settings were created on purpose to control which elements will appear and with which effects.
