In response to the need for a renewable construction system that meets the requirements of technological advancement and in the way of construction, the use of wood has played an important role. With particular characteristics, such as high structural capacity, good thermoacoustic properties and low energy consumption, this material has become excellent for the design of innovative projects. Especially when it gains new properties and performance, using advanced technologies.
It was decided to implement the Center for Technology and Research in Madeira in Sao Paulo, as it is a city of great importance and significance for the country.
The site where it is located has great potential due to several factors, such as infrastructure and mobility in the region, with important institutions that are close and attract a large audience, given the possibility of including the Antartica Viaduct in the proposal and develop improvements to the immediate surroundings.
